And... for as deadly as Sasori's poison seemed to me back when I first watched this, 3 days to kill a victim... it's not a very strong poison I guess...

2020-03-19 03:13:46 +0000 UTCYeah the Japanese for Gaara's monster is "Ichibi". "Ichi" means "one" and, well you know "bi" means "tail" or "tails". Gaara's is the One-Tailed Beast while Naruto's is the Nine-Tailed. This means that Naruto's beast is stronger, but it's still weird that Gaara never brought out Shukaku against Deidara. As strong as Gaara is, and even though Shukaku is just the One-Tailed Beast, it's still a Tailed Beast. And while they did kinda fodder off Kankuro, at least there was a good reason for it. Sasori was responsible for Kankuro's puppets, so of course he'd know how they worked. Though imo it didn't seem too complicated for Sasori. He just kept swatting stuff with his tail lol. The reveal of Sasori being the maker of Kankuro's puppets was pretty interesting, even if Kankuro's not a big player in the series. Just wished Temari was there, but of course they had to show her with Shikamaru, and also her wind techniques would probably be too OP for them to find a way for Sasori or Deidara to deal with along with Kankuro and Gaara. I mean, she can also attack the sky with her attacks, so her help would've made Deidara and Sasori's operation much too hard on top of everything else. And while I do like her outfit here, I still prefer the one she wore at the end of part 1. Looked more suitable for combat, and showed more leg xP Also good call keeping in the intro. Along with Haruka Kanata, it's my favorite Naruto opening. Unlike Haruka Kanata though, I don't have the words memorized (because it's just too dank to fully follow), but you can bet your ass it gets me to dance lol.
