Oh, and hopefully you weren't expecting much from Sakura in these fillers, or from anyone for that matter. Even if they do something outstanding, because it's filler means that they would never do it again because it technically never happened in the story. Filler's never allowed to change the flow or outcome of the canon story. Not with Naruto anyway xP

2020-03-17 06:05:21 +0000 UTCYep this one was filler. May have had a BIT of canon in it, but this mission here never happened in the manga. And now to be fair to Sakura, her imagining Sasuke in front of her while they were leaping through the trees isn't unlike how Naruto would vision Sasuke just in front of him too. And Sakura was on her way to try to bring Sasuke back on her own, rather than going to join him. For her to resolve to do that on her own... that takes courage. She had my respect for that. As a filler episode, it was a tad silly. Jiraiya could definitely have taken out those guys with mere Taijutsu and not blown their cover, but you know how filler goes lol. And now I'm finally up to your Shippuden reactions ^^
