And yeah it's probably explained later, but even despite the Sand allying with the Sound, originally the Sand and Leaf villages were allies, and so after finding out about Orochimaru posing as the Kazekage, the Sand surrendered and re-allied themselves with the Leaf. Now time to see how you react to what Gaara's got in store this time x)

2020-03-15 05:55:20 +0000 UTCJust when you thought it couldn't POSSIBLY get more epic than Rock Lee coming to the rescue at the last second last episode, in comes Temari, Kankuro, and GAARA to save everyone and kick some ASS! Seriously when this happened... chills bruh. Chills. Especially Gaara yo. This psychopath who lived just to kill was the guy who literally crippled Lee and nearly ruined his life, tried to kill him while he was helpless in the hospital, and made Lee go through that life-threatening surgery to recover. And he's coming to SAVE LEE'S LIFE and HELP him! :D And this is why Gaara is one of my top 5 favorite characters. He's wicked strong and imo he has the BEST character progression in the whole series. First he comes a long way here in doing a complete change in his attitude (becoming one of the kindest and most compassionate people), and then you've seen what he's become in Shippuden. Just the idea of him helping Lee like this is mind-blowingly awesome! And Temari... Again you talking about Shikamaru and Tayuya holding hands, grabbing each other, and hugging each other, and Temari's like "Not with MY man!" to Tayuya xD An actual catfight between two sassy lasses.
