And while I wouldn't say I was this "weak" when watching a lot of these, they were still sad, and seeing you reacting to them actually makes them even sadder and gets me to tear up more. But there have been some anime where I just completely lost it. Like I was flat out CRYING. Not just tearing, not just sniffling. But full on crying. And they weren't manly tears. I was crying like a baby lol. Anime is powerful.

2020-03-06 02:58:51 +0000 UTCIt's times like this where Kishimoto reminds us that not all of the characters are immortal. First we saw Dosu die, then Hayate, then Zaku and Kin, and here... Hiruzen. It was such a beautiful sendoff for him too, and I just knew that him seeing Orochimaru as a little boy again just before he died was gonna have you shook lol. It seems like he died so early, but yet 79 episodes is even longer than the entire Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood anime, so that's still a long time. He'll never be forgotten... And this isn't really a story spoiler I believe, especially since the manga doesn't really make big mention of it, but that purple-haired ANBU woman was indeed Hayate's lover. That's why she was so upset at his death and so pissed at the Sand/Sound ninja invading the village, because Hayate died as a result of the plan. I don't remember her name because I think it's only given in databook entries. I love how pissed Orochimaru is at having his arms taken. Why does he seem so surprised? It's not the first time he's been bested by someone. He already admitted to Itachi being stronger. Does he really think so little of Hiruzen - the freaking HOKAGE? Like he's not walking away without at least some kind of lasting scars. And now the tears come...
