I'm pretty sure that's because Raikiri is an enhanced version of Chidori.

Also little fun fact about Chidori and Raikiri (Lightning Blade), while for all intents and purposes they're the same Jutsu, in the databook Chidori is listed as an A-class technique and Raikiri is an S-class. Couldn't tell you why. I'm not sure myself. Also not sure if Naruto at this point would beat Sasuke just with Gammabunta. Sasuke's REALLY fast, and that Chidori would do damage. But then again, Gammabunta is fast too, and huge. If it was just Nine-Tails chakra Naruto against Sasuke... I might say it's about even, but Naruto has more stamina.
