yall this is crazy but theyre fights are awesome, especially the animation when they punch each other,
plus this main and side branch thing of their clan made me so curious to their history more!

Neji is really strong. One of the reasons he's in my top 5 favorite and why (for a while) I practiced his fighting style to great effect. It's derived from Dim Mak, a real life style that uses precise pinpoint strikes to attack nerves and pressure points. With very little effort, you can temporarily paralyze someone or even outright kill them. I also somewhat agree with what Neji was saying here, and completely agree with what he says in his next fight in the finals (which I know you've seen already), though I can't say WHY I agree with him, not yet. Not that I agree with how he handled Hinata, since I like her too, but had she struck him with any effective blows, they'd have done the same damage. It was more Neji's attitude with how he fought and what he was saying that's wrong, though we find out why later. And while Naruto's heart was in the right place, I had the same reaction to him continuously basically egging Hinata on to keep fighting. I know what he was feeling, but he was just pushing her to get herself killed. Neji was fine with letting the match end early, but Naruto kept pushing Hinata to fight and destroy herself. In the end though, while she did lose, she also still proved herself. Her skill didn't magically improve right there, but her attitude and confidence definitely did.
