The WORST boat trip of my life... (part 1: The beautiful beginning)

Hellooooooo patrons!!

Well we made it to Azores! I have had NOTHING but problems with this boat (no AC power, no dingy, no water...) We've had to sail to another island to get into a marina and onto shore power in order to upload this video! OMG how frustrating do you think this is????

List of broken things on the Bavaria:

-Bow thruster

-port power winch

-DINGY (completely dead)

-220VAC power (that is actually half-fixed now - it works on the port side)

-Forward head hatch (leaking HORRIBLY)

-Forward cabin hatch (cracked acrylic

-Spinnaker halyard out of service do to age (safety hazard)

-Code 0 broken

-Bimini (completely shredded and now taken off the boat)

This boat was $1 MILLION dollars in 2018. Man it needs some love now. More to come on this front, let's talk about this new video!!!

In this episode we are leaving Aruba for St Maarten, in order to pick up our new OC Tender! We get the boat ready to do, and document the first few days of the trip.

***I will be putting out a lot of content over the next few weeks, trying to catch us up to within 2 weeks of real time now, as we are falling WAY behind. I've got 5 episodes ready to go, all that I've worked on during the Atlantic crossing. Just was waiting for power.... :) ***
