Work Continuing
Added 2023-07-11 14:05:17 +0000 UTCA friend wrote me recently acknowledging how the work I'm doing is indeed benefitting people beyond counting. He was an HIV positive homeless heroin addict when I found him.
By the time he was writing me that message of gratitude, he was off drugs and reconnected with his family. He Died just the very next day. After a long life of abuse I guess his body just couldn't take any more.
Hw used to sit on west 3rd with a sign that read,
"Will twerk for $$"
you may have seen him. Either way, if you noticed him missing from the streets, it's because he was one of many I got out of that hell.
I'd like to continue my work, but it's difficult without food or a phone.
