Knowing this was a French thing makes a lot of sense. When I saw Johnny I just immediately thought of Martin Mystery. Also it’s funny you brought up the whole Krypton thing as I just had someone say the same thing to me that Krypton being just like Earth in almost every way to how life on there look, behave etc. and even having dogs in the same way is dumb considering how vast the universe is lol.
