A Corn Fed Reunion: Chapter 1
Added 2023-07-02 15:15:37 +0000 UTCLiam was cautiously excited to return to Oregon. A year ago he felt the exact opposite. As a well-off city kid he used to want nothing to do with his dad’s family in the rural Pacific Northwest, but last summer changed everything. That was when Liam met Jeremy, a corn fed neighbor boy with all-American good looks who wasn’t entirely straight. After weeks of playing cat and mouse with the nervous the Jeremy, the two finally hooked up and it was probably the best sex of Liam’s life. Needless to say, he wanted more.
The boys had texted a bit last year after Liam had returned home, but it didn’t last. Jeremy was no wordsmith plus he was grieving the death of his grandma. Liam didn’t push it. He figured he would probably never see this gorgeous country boy ever again and made peace with that fact. In fact, Liam had decided that if he couldn’t have Jeremy he could at least live a life inspired by the hunk, and in doing so might attract someone of similar appearance.
So when Liam returned home he bought a gym membership and began to bulk. He did everything the YouTube trainers advised, transforming his diet and developing a robust exercise routine. A year later he was nearly twenty pounds heavier. For the first time in his life he had broad shoulders and biceps and an ass. Sure, he was still a twink by any account, but he wasn’t a pushover either. He was strong and growing stronger every day. And it wasn’t just muscle he was gaining either, Liam had developed a caked up ass and a burgeoning paunch too. He was enjoying food and his growing body. Overall, he felt good.
When Liam’s father announced a return to Oregon, this time for a family reunion, his mind began to race with fantasies of Jeremy. Of course, he was eagerly on board which surprised his parents. They expected Liam to balk at spending two summers in a row in the country. Little did they know.

Gazing out the window of their black Escalade cruising into the Oregon forest, Liam was a ball of nerves. The second they turned off the freeway his eyes were on the lookout for Jeremy. Every bump of the old country road caused his chest and belly to jiggle. He enjoyed the sensation, it was a fairly new one after all, yet it also reminded him of Jeremy. He wondered what their bodies would feel like pressed together now that he wasn’t so slight. He also wondered if Jeremy had changed at all. Had he gained weight? Maybe he slimmed down? Farm work was probably difficult at Jeremy’s size so the latter seemed likely.
They arrived at Liam’s uncle’s house and were immediately greeted by the family, all of whom uncomfortably commented on Liam’s physique. His belly was pinched and his arms extended. He was told to flex and to smile. He was told the weight looked good on him. He was told he was still too skinny. It was mostly complimentary but still awkward. No one back home even noticed his gains as far as he knew. It was progress nonetheless, he reassured himself.
Eventually, he headed inside and was immediately struck by delicious smells wafting from the kitchen. Several pies were cooling on the counter and mac n cheese was baking inside the oven. Meat was marinating on the kitchen table before it was to be grilled out back. There seemed to be enough food to feed an army and the reunion was still several days away. Liam soaked in the smells and made a vow to himself to eat as much as possible while he was here.
In the guest room he undressed. It was too humid to be wearing his city clothes. Wearing only his briefs, Liam admired how his thighs finally touched, just barely, in front of the mirror. He looked forward to the day they stayed in constant contact like Jeremy’s. This year, he came prepared and threw on some denim cutoffs and a viscose sweat-resistant tee. He looked the part of country boy more than ever before, yet this simple look still cost hundreds of dollars.
Liam was famished when dinner rolled around and did not hold back. He ate some of everything served, going light on the bread so as not to get too full. He had an inordinate amount of meat though, hot dogs, and ribs, and a couple sliders. Protein was a priority. The mac n cheese was heavenly and then of course there were deserts. The latter pushed him over the edge, but he persevered nonetheless and washed everything down with some iced tea and whiskey. His cousins and uncle drank PBR but Liam knew the carbonation would limit his intake.
By the time he was finished he was drunk and felt like a blimp. The alcohol had lent him the courage to open up his text thread with Jeremy. Surely, Jeremy knew of the imminent family reunion happening in town, even though he was not blood related. It would have been nice if he’d reached out himself, but Liam took matters into his own town. “Hey, I’m in town. You around?” he shot off.
Almost immediately Liam received a response. He was shocked. “Yeah I’m around,” the message read. Followed by another: “Meet by the river in an hour?”
