YouTube problems

Guys, I’m going through a really tough time on YouTube right now. My videos either get hit with 18+ restrictions, get deleted, or I receive strikes. Despite all of this, I’m still fighting and releasing new content, but promoting it on YouTube is becoming harder and harder. For example, my video on part 4 barely reached anyone because it wasn’t promoted due to restrictions. It has only 2k views, which is unthinkable for my channel. I haven’t seen such low numbers in ages, and it’s honestly frustrating. I need to grow on the channel and attract new viewers to the channel, accordingly, there will be more growth in Patreon, where I can get out of the survival stage and shoot my videos with peace of mind, and not save on everything.  For the past 4 months, I’ve been working nonstop, filming and editing on the go, and I really want to know that all this hard work will pay off. But right now, YouTube is making it extremely difficult.

All I ask from you is to visit my channel more often, turn on notifications, and watch the videos, even if it’s just in the background. That would give me a much-needed boost. I’m honestly angry with the system, because I worked and work a lot, and then I look at the channels (I will not say which ones, you already know), there people do not even put tags to videos, which logically YouTube should not promote, but it does. This is a cry from the heart. I’ve set up a schedule where I can balance filming and editing, and videos are coming out every two weeks. Plus, they’re available on Patreon five days before YouTube. I’m working hard to keep things moving forward, and I have no plans of stopping.

Tomorrow I will post a new video here, and at the end of the week, the video will be public. I hope there will be no restrictions and strikes there.

Thank you so much for your support! ❤️

I got a bell notification for one of your videos a few days ago but when I clicked to watch it was taken down. I guess this was it? I wonder if they will they let you post it here?

When I try to activate notifications on your YouTube channel by clicking the bell, I get a note that says "this action is turned off for content made for kids." Perhaps your channel is restricted because it has accidentally been set as a kids channel?

Still continue watching your great videos, and I also often like rewatching some of them again. Don't stop, you have a lot of fans. That with Youtube is very annoying. Especially they take down trainsurfing videos (I know a lot of channels where Youtube deletes the train surfing videos, or block the whole channel after several warnings.) Above all, it's idiotic when you look at what else is allowed on Youtube. Extreme sports, stupid dangerous stunts or pranks, some childish dangerous challenges, everything is allowed. But train surfing is evil and the most dangerous thing in the world, at least youtube thinks so. Too bad, because Youtube is still one of the most known and used platforms, it is difficult to change to another, without loosing the people, or facing new issues. I already considered, that we need a complete new internet service, without censoring, for explorers, trainsurfers etc. what is not easy to do. The other thing what you could consider: Make your own website, where you also share all your videos. Then you still can upload them to Youtube, and if they delete your video, make some kind of "Preview" or "Trailer" Video on Youtube, with a link to your website. It may be difficult to start such a website, and maybe it will cost a bit for high webspace and traffic for the video, but technically it should be makeable. (Even if you start with a wordpress blog or something like this, and do then a own site later.) But just ideas, sure best would be, if Youtube wouldn't be so stupid, and allow content like trainsurfing.

Have you considered posting your videos on other platforms like Tiktok? and then directing your viewers from them to this petreon or a personal website. god forbid something happen to your youtube at least you would have some control and not experience a "all eggs in one basket" scenario.
