An update on the process of making gay things

Well, it took five years but I finally tried to do a bit too much (and paid for it pretty quickly). Let's have a chat about how productivity, mental health, and ADHD don't get along without trial, error, and a willingness to adapt when your current method stops working...and probably wasn't that great to begin with.

This is a bit of personal and professional transparency as I continue to react to and make content for gay things now that I've found my (unmedicated) productivity ceiling.

Content Warning: Mention and discussion of panic attacks, anxiety.

I know that you have an abundance of evidence that people will follow you, but here's a bit more. Do you remember what year you started 'The Ships Closet'? You haven't been able the scrape the gum (me) off your shoe since. I followed you from there, to tumbler, to now here. So just remember that you will always have one tenacious follower. As long your as your putting anything thing out into the world I will be here to enjoy it and if you can't do it for a while, I'll just patiently wait until you can again. And if you ever have to quite entirely, I'll only wish you the best. I said it before and I'll say it again, the most important thing is that you take care of yourself. Don't use up all your spell slots and start taking exhaustion, and if you need a long rest you take it. I apologize for the D&D references, but I find that is a more useful reference to me personally than the spoons reference.

Hey, just want you to know that I have been on this channel for years now, this being my top 3 fav channels. We all love and value you, and all that matters is that you stay as happy and healthy as you can. It is a hard year after another hard year and I just want you to take things at your own pace. There is no point in this channel if you do not enjoy creating this content and do it within your own comfort zone. We love you, I love you, and really really appreciate everything you do, and it will not all go down to hell if you slow down or take any amount of breaks. It would break my heart to know that someone who helped me through so many hardships in my life is struggling because of the pressure content-making puts on them. Just please please please remember to take care of yourself❤️
