I've recently upped my anxiety meds after the low dose turned out really well, and I'm currently in the window for any side effects to crop up during the adjustment period. Did you know that a side effect for Effexor, an anti anxiety medication, is anxiety? What a sensical and not at all baffling world we live in.
As of now, my anxiety is running fairly high and I'm doing my best to ride it out. The side effect window should pass in a couple weeks, but if it hasn't lessened by the time I'm on mandatory vacation the week of 6/16 then I'll be contacting my doctor about returning to my original dosage.
Also! The Wife threw her back out and will be home for a bit while she recovers.
All of this to say, I'm going to be doing my best to record and stream what I can over these next couple weeks before my vacation but it likely won't be the full schedule I typically keep up with. And of course if things take a turn for whatever reason and I need to move up my vacation I absolutely will--I'm just so excited about the reactions and pride and my birthday that I'm not gonna pull that trigger unless I have to. But, y'know, taking care of myself and all that.
The only current cancelations are Thursday's streams of the book chat and starting Kings Rising. I'll keep you guys updated as things change. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. <333

2025-06-05 20:37:43 +0000 UTCTake good care, both of you and dont worry. We want you healthy and having at least a little bit of fun, doing your job that gives us so much. And believe me, I have six different meds I need to take and some side effects are ludicrous. My antidepressant can cause depression and suicidal thoughts....well, thank you. Half of them you are not supposed to take together but its the only thing keeping me above water. It sucks. Take all the time you need. I often do rewatches and I tell you, hearing you laugh and geek out helps better than my Wellbutrin. I take it honestly, just in case and because they dont work and nothing else does either, depression wise, so I take that until my neurologist and I find something new.
