2025-05-26 19:17:19 +0000 UTCAhhhh I’m so happy you enjoyed the whole series!! I do wish they had been allowed more episodes to help with pacing, but I agree that what they managed was incredible. That ending leaves open SO many fun questions, and I can’t wait to see where they go with it. It’d be nice to learn more about the characters too, which I imagine is on the table for S2! Ridiculously excited to hear that you’re interested in doing Helluva Boss at some point, because while I love both series I’m more partial to that one myself. Also just so you’re aware in advance, most of HB’s first season doesn’t have official subtitles yet, but there’s a Google Drive folder of subs made by a fan if you’d like that to be shared at any point!

I don't know her music well enough to confirm, but if so, that's a brilliant bit of meta. Vivziepop is apparently a big fan so I expect there's a bit of Ke$ha in Angel Dust himself. (Ke$ha herself played a character on Helluva Boss.)

Episode 4 (Masquerade) was what hooked me on this series, because just like you, I’m a huge sucker for when a generally lighthearted show takes a serious turn. I also adore that Angel’s story gives so much more context to his behavior up until now and completely demolishes the one-note Overtly Sexual Feminine Gay Guy trope that tends to pop up in things like anime.
