2025-01-10 00:03:06 +0000 UTCAlso, fun little fact : in the movie commentary, Felix, the actor playing Alex, told the story of filming the night club scene. Obviously, there were a lot of extras there. And they didn't know the context of the scene, just that they had to dance. And in between takes, one of them came to see Felix and asked him "are you two supposed to be in love?" and he said yes, and the extra said "you can tell." And Felix said it made him so happy and gave him confidence for the rest of the movie :)

Like them translating the slang "fuck" by "whore", which made me cringe a lot because it made it seem like David was insulting Alex... But most of it was there anyway and I'm so glad you enjoyed it ♥ It's such a great movie that left a profound impact on me. As you said, it deals with so much, from queerness to death to grief, to mental illness (David is most definitely bipolar and even if it's not said at loud, the way it's portrayed is so on point)... Thank you for reacting to it!
