2023-12-11 06:25:46 +0000 UTCAlright, that was super cute! I especially liked the art style, and the way the movements of the characters are animated - I don't know how to explain it properly but they walk like squares and circles simultaneously, very fun!

And I'm going to recommend one of the Mangaka's other work, and it's very much an angsty story but very beautiful, it's called Barairo no hoho no koro (When I was Thirteen), it's about a boy's school in the 50s. someone made a trailer of it - https://youtu.be/nGiVd0sFV5g. Highly, highly recommend it as I think it's her best work. (but it's got really heavy themes, it doesn't hold back on the punches of being queer during that period and what it means, and the ending is up...well, it's not happy, but it's like...a part of the chapter of the character's life).
