Also, I cannot for the life of me think of what moment you're referring to in episode 4, which moment in CR Dream at the gates of hell reminds you of. But then there's like 1000+ hours and I have most likely forgotten a good bit of it. Edit: I'm dumb, it was about the skeleton in the wall -> top of the Ziggurat. Nvmd.

We didn't see Ethel or John actively using it, either, it was a passive protection thing that only sprung into action when someone was actually trying to hurt them. So, Rosemary could go through her entire life without it activating at all, or maybe at some point, some idiot mugger got a soup ending.
