DELTA GREEN: THE STATE OF THE ONION, 2024

Hey guys, just thought I'd take a few to give you some insight on the dark machinations behind the scenes of Arc Dream Publishing and all things Delta Green. Well maybe not dark machinations. More like fun shenanigans. 

First off, 2023-2024 has been the biggest year for Delta Green ever. Several of our books have gone to reprint (IMPOSSIBLE LANDSCAPES and the core rules come to mind, but others too!) I can't stress how incredible this is. In the 1990s, we would struggle to move stock through the three-tier publishing system, today, we can't keep them in stock — and that's thanks to you. Six or more of our books have ridden the top 100 of DriveThru.rpg and many, many (many many) amazing actual plays of our works have garnered huge audiences. Incredible.

Second, we have a TON of things coming down the pike. But when you think of "Arc Dream Publishing!" it's important to put it in perspective. It is basically just three full time guys, and a few other freelancers that do everything. Also, we are obsessed with quality, so we do our best to pump the brakes on "rush to release" that seems to consume so many other publishers. We get one shot at any book, so a great deal of thought and art goes into each release. If something you're looking for is in the queue for release and it's coming too slow for your liking, remember, we're doing everything we can to make that book THE BEST IT CAN POSSIBLY BE. Be patient. Our entire goal is to OVER deliver.

Third, we've signed so many translation deals. French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish and Ukrainian. These will be direct translations of the existing books. Many of these publishers are going to Kickstart their editions in their own country — if you are interested, keep an eye out!

Below is a list of active projects (there are more, and some are not listed). So, where are we at:

• DEAD DROPS: A new hardcover collection of operations. This is in layout. It contains, Meridian, Presence, From the Dust and Jack Frost.
• DEAD LETTER: Art is done and it's in layout.
• THE GOOD LIFE: Art is done and it is in layout. 
• GOD'S HUNT: Caleb's collection of four operations to take place during GOD'S TEETH. Half the art is done, then it goes to layout. I'm working on this now. 
• SHOTGUN SCENARIOS: Cover is done. Shotgun operations are selected and edited. Contracts are being signed and then it goes to layout.
• OPERATIONAL HISTORY: More than 3/4 of the way done writing wise; this history examines DG from its inception to the modern world, and is filled with operations, NPCs, handouts, artifacts, threats and more. I am doing the art as I write it. 
• MILLENNIUM: Art is more than half-way done (the re-writes and such are finished).
• AB OVO AND THE DELTA GREEN BOXED SET: AB OVO (an intro adventure for a DG boxed set) is finished but needs me to playtest it before I release it to my Patreon. The cover image for the boxed set is done as well. But this project is currently low priority.
• PISCES: Scott Glancy is editing this monstrous book and hopes to wrap it before summer.
• FALLING TOWERS: Shane is writing this book on the fall of the Fate in NYC.
• THOSE WHO COME AFTER: The sourcebook section of the book is done, and we are working to combine FUTURE/PERFECT in this hardcover as a Great Race campaign to include with it. 
• DEEP STATE: I am writing DEEP STATE (about March Technologies and what happened to the remnants of MAJESTIC). But I just began. 
• OUT OF THE DEAD LAND: A new DG campaign by me, this is my "swing for the fences" now that I finished IMPOSSIBLE LANDSCAPES. It focuses on a single town and the strange disturbances that rock it, which have arisen from alien math.
