army youtube is a mess - Reaction

i agreed with a lot of what you said and a lot of what boarcity said. i think you have a very pure mind and like to see the good in people not all of us do so because weve been burned before i admire your positivity even if i disagree with some things like the kpop related thing. youre actually one of the only channels i tolerate reactions to kpop the other is landon mark and its because both of you are genuine and real not only when it comes to bts but even other artists staying respectful even if you dont like something. i personally cant stand most kpop and consider bts separate from kpop. i do love many kpop songs and many korean artists who arents considered kpop artists. but my top priority is bts. which is why i cant get into most kpop groups or reaction channels because the way kpop fandoms and kpop labels treat bts overpowers my will to get into other kpop artists deeply besides just not liking the actual music. youve seen the hardships video and the bad things that happened in rise of bangtan but theres so much more that has never been covered in youtube videos and so much slander daily that i cant become a fan/stan of other kpop groups even if i wanted to. multis have to either ignore all negativity or play all sides which i cant do. bts is my priority so if i tried to become a fan of another group and interact with their fans i will have to see bts hate daily and just stay quiet or fight until twitter suspends me and who has the time for that. so i just casually listen to songs i like and ignore kpop majority of the time i might watch some funny videos or reality shows but i can never really go deep like i do with bts cause even if the fans were nice to bts their label who pockets money from my engagement is busy trying to sabotage bts in media or other smiley actions. all that being said my only other disagreement is color coded lyric videos do actually make money example zaty farhani channel adds music at the end of their videos its music they made themselves so they can claim half the profits from the lyric videos. i used to love zatys channel cause they use doolset lyrics most of the time so its correct translations but now i stay away from any channel that has extra music that isnt bts. i think as long as you check to make sure the only song in that video is bts then it should be fine but i may be wrong.

I found your channel when you were reacting to Geography now. Then you stared with BTS and insulted ARMY😂 and became interested with both. I enjoyed watching your reaction, fascination and understanding of BTS and the fandom. I used to be able to do BTS sundays, but I can’t now since I’m usually working. So being in Patreon is great, I can follow and enjoy your videos even if it is delayed. I love the community in discord. The Brohas over there are great resources and fun. Every now and then I’ll pop up in twitch. But all in all, you are doing a wonderful job. Thank you.

About keeping the criticism low and showing respect, I wish more people would be polite. Sometimes, before criticizing first, maybe research the circumstance and situation first. Especially if Korean is not the commentator's first language, a lot is lost in the translation, and even more so when it's about the culture.

Just like everyone else commenting so far, I respect your empathy and the intellectual way you comment on videos. They truly are both reactions and commentaries that add to the conversation. The lady who seems upset right now has some valid points, but comes across as a bit self-righteous and judgy-judgy... I understand it might be upsetting to see lots of of new people reacting and being very in-adept, but like you are saying... at least BTS is getting more attention. Not every fan is going to be highly intelligent or eloquent, but let's try not to come across as arrogant. It is what it is. If the new reactors are not good, after a while, they will lose subscribers and interest over time.

I only support 2 ppl on patreon, ur one of them and the other is another reactor. I've been w/ u since that 1st Butter reaction and waited patiently when u kept putting off the music reaction because u were set in how u were going to go about ur journey. Even when u had me waiting what seemed like weeks between BTS content at the beginning! 🤪 I stuck around because u seemed like a real one. I don't need my reactor s to just love everything blindly, but authenticity is a must. The thing w/ that troublesome reactor hurt my heart because ARMY is powerful and our support can amplify a cause or voice and that is NOT a voice I would like to amplify, it's so damaging and undoes the hard work the guys have been doing. Boracity can be harsh but I agree w/ a lot of what she says and I also believe that it comes from a good place. I bit the bullet and joined Discord cause of u and over a year later I still can't get comfortable there. I was curious about ur reaction since I saw u were in this videodon't take it to heart. Ur not one of the bad ones and not to toot our own horn but u got a pretty cool community that shows up on Sundays w/o fail to hang out together😏

I only follow reactors that give commentary so I agree with you Jim that you do both. By adding your expertise commentary is something additional to what I already know, others reactors I follow do the same but in different fields. It’s true that sometimes you are a little lost but it’s ok maybe a follow up commentary would be very interesting to see for us. What you said about looping not counting as views it’s true, that’s why she mentioned to not use the 🔁 repeat option.

From my perspective, not a single person including me can be always right and perfect. That applies to the reactors as well. I don't subscribe to many of them although I do watch some of their videos. If I find myself watching a lot of their videos only then will I subscribe. I also pay for 2 patreon subscribtions for you and one other channel. I think we as fans just need to find the middle ground with reactions and choose carefully who we want to support more that the occasional view. I also tend not to comment or engage, unless it's your twitch lives. As per the recent attack on twitter, I would say to just ignore it. A lot of Armys lush out when they feel hurt and strongly believe they are in the right. Then they gain support from other Armys who don't know the entire truth, because we tend to stand by our own and distrust reactors in general. This too shall pass and people who watched you for a while know that you always try your best. You just can't please everyone all the time and I think you accepted that some time ago as well when you lost subscribers for different reasons. You grew while watching BTS as a lot of other reactors did. You've made a lot of great points in this video and I think it would benefit other Armys to watch it, if you choose to upload it on youtube.

Hey jim! First of all, you make really good content and super good bts content. :) You are my favorite bts-youtuber besides boracity. I was so devastated about some things that were said about Jimin and his art when he released his solo album and it broke my heart a little because jimin is my absolute Bias. Although I love all of them, lovely dorky guys and yoongi is my favorite musician. Your videos helped me that time a lot and your commentary about bts is so sweet and feels honest. I also love that you give an interesting insight into music production and your taste in music. It is all very fun and entertaining. The reason I write this comment now is that I am so impressed and grateful for the way you talk about other people like in this video. I love your way to show empathy, for example about this Ameere (Andrew state) guy. It looks like he is kind of a lost soul and has some issues in his life. This is no excuse for what he says. What he said is terrible and you can most certainly easily hate on him. But you show so much empathy and understanding for people that are lost like that and I am every time so grateful for that. It spread so much positivity. It shows that you are a true humanist and want to interact with people in a good way. All that shows that you are a true army :))) I am a teacher in high school and it is very important to me to interact respectfully with people and show teenagers that you can criticize without hate and that it contributes nothing to the world when we bash on people. I am every time impressed by people that are not swept away by they emotions and strong feelings and can show empathy and humanity for people good or bad. I also love when you criticize dumb and toxic people for what they do and go harsh on them. Altought you are always respectful and I appreciate that. wait who accused you of not being an army? that´s so messed up. did it happen on a BTS stream i didn´t see? or is the the twitter issue with that person who got kicked out of discord? if it is the twitter thing i kind of understand even if they took it to far. I always feel like i have to careful how i phrase things or else i will get a warning for hating on other groups and that is insane. it´s sentence i don´t even see an issue with, so i get so scared and confused and i don´t like being there anymore. so i think she might have been misunderstood. but idk the whole story only saw your twitter thing and read what the girl wrote. those who also likes other groups can be really protective and se the bad in everything you say. and it´s a shame that you can disagree without being called a hater. because i dont hate them i just don´t listen to them and therefore i don´t know much so that can be offensive to others i think. but also English is not my first language so that is also an issue. and in my culture we speak our minds. we don´t like small talk, we just ask and say what´s on our mind. so people may think i am arrogant or a hater or whatever it might be. so i get what you mean about feeling like you are being misjudged. but the military picture issue was posted by bighit so those pictures was okay to portrait in your videos, it´s the behind the scenes pictures who are not. so people need to relax
