To no one’s surprise, D-DAY is a massive success!!! D-DAY becomes the highest debut album by a Korean act on the Spotify Global Weekly Charts in 2023 and joins FACE as the only Korean Soloist Albums to debut with 2M+ streams on Melon this year! The album also received #1 in the Top Album Global Debut chart on Spotify and Yoongi made history by being the first Korean soloist to enter the top album charts in Germany, Australia, and Belgium as well becoming the first Asian soloist to chart #1 on France’s Main Albums Chart. All over the world this album is breaking records and we are so proud of what Yoongi and army have accomplished.

The tour has also officially started! I have mostly been trying to stay away from spoilers (not that hard though spoilers are inevitable and that's just the way the cookie crumbles) but know it's an amazing show and hope army who attended his first three shows had the time of their life!!! To Army attending future shows make sure to stay safe and healthy during your travels and to have fun! I’m personally looking forward to the free Hennessy that Yoongi sets up for us 21+ army lol. They have been filming shows, Yoongi’s Japan show will be shown in theaters, and his show in Seoul will be streamed online!

Even with a highly successful album and tour Yoongi is still making sure there is lots of content coming out for us, from show special appearances (he is at the NBA semi-final game 1 right now), new episodes of Suchwita (new episode with Woozi from Seventeen coming out soon Link), going live for almost 2 hours to talk about the album, dance challenges with his members and other idols, and more! Yoongi will be on The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon tomorrow to talk about the album, tour, and will also perform Haegeum!!!

"Like Crazy" Becomes 1st K-Pop Solo Song In A Decade To Spend 4 Weeks on Billboard's Hot 100! I love it when our boys make history.

Jimin traveled to New York for the grand opening of Tiffany & Co.’s The Landmark and he looked amazing! Army went to show their support and try to catch a glimpse of Jimin, and even though many stars were in attendance everyone knew who the main event was.

He also surprised Army last night by showing up to watch the Agust D concert with everyone and support his brother, just like he supported Hobi during Lollapalooza. After Yoongi announced “Today my brother is here” and army cheered for a long time, yoongi pouted and said “hold on, focus on me! This is my concert!” There is not a single interaction between those two that doesn't involve adorable bickering. Link to Jose’s video showing the moment (6 min)

History was made last night. For the first time ever. Yoongi and Jimin went on live together. Yoongi talked about his shows, Jimin gushed about Yoongis performance, more bickering happened, and after asking for so long, Jimin finally agreed to perform Tony Montana with Yoongi during his tour!! This is my formal request for Jimin to perform with Yoongi in Oakland Day 2, please and thank you.

JK:

Went to the premiere of Dream with Tae (drama/sport movie starring IU and Park Seojoon (from Wooga squad and Jinny’s Kitchen))!! It was an adorable appearance where we got to see a shy JK be guided by Tae and reminded us that even if BTS (especially JK) constantly say that Tae is their true youngest that everyone takes care of, he is still a great older brother to JK. That night he also went live to chat and even though he didn’t mean it to be long because he was tired he ended up on live for an hour and a half and gave us a cooking show to show us a new recipe at 5 am. Since then he has been sharing some more of his dishes and promises to send out more recipes for Army to try.

V:

Jinny’s Kitchen is officially wrapped up!! He posted many photos and memories from his time shooting the show and said “Thank you so much for loving Jinny's Kitchen so much until now, I love you”

Tae showed his big heart for Army once again and for this final episode after working hard and nonstop for weeks, he prepared dishes for Army’s that were waiting outside the restaurant for him. Once the restaurant exceeded 12K sales they closed down the kitchen but you can still see our Tae frying up hot dogs and chicken for Army. He also surprised them by performing the RUN BTS dance in front of the restaurant to celebrate the successful run of the finale show. Glad Tae enjoyed his time filming the show and congrats to him for a successful show!

He also went live for a grand total of 4 minutes to show us his funny bed head right when he woke up. What a man.

RM:

It's easy to assume he is hosting a music camp with all the photos he’s posted from his studio, hope the process is going well for him. He’s keeping us updated with instagram, sharing photos, music recommendations, letting us know he’s staying active by sharing photos of the gyms whiteboard with his workout written out (100 pull-ups?!? Have mercy on me Namjoon please.)

He also went to support his friend Kim Hanjoo at his show with the rest of his band Silica Gel, a Korean rock indie band. Happy to see even when working hard for his mysterious project he still is enjoying himself and spending time with friends.

JHOPE:

The behind the scenes of his appearances at the Korean End of Year Award Shows was released (18 min) and we once again had the chance to see how ambitious and kind he is when preparing for performances. He also went to the filming of AMYGDALA to bring snacks and to support his brother and he couldn’t stop smiling, I miss him already. Hope he is adjusting well and staying healthy.
