JHOPE:

On the street is finally out and for a song meant to go back to his roots, we know how much it means to him to release this heartfelt song with his biggest musical inspiration, J.cole. J-hope dancing to J.cole rapping, where is all started for him all those years ago, Army is so proud of him.

The song quickly became Jhopes biggest song debut on the Spotify US Chart (beating “MORE”) debuting with 4.4 million filtered streams, reached #1 on US iTunes (as well as at least 80 different regions), 10 millions views in less than 48 hours on YouTube, and debuted at No. 16 on Sotify’s daily global chart making it the highest new entry on the chart.

“On The Street’ is a song full of hope and warmth, and a fan song that I'm giving to the fans all over the world. ‘On The Street’ is a song with a hip-hop genre, that you're able to listen to at ease, and it's a song that was made while thinking of ARMYs around the world. Especially, the whistling sound that I recorded by myself, that sound is the charm point of this song. Because it's a song with hope and warmth, please enjoy listening to it!And! In ‘On The Street’, I've collaborated with my all time favorite, our J-Cole-nim. A special collaborative song, On The Street is completed.”

Quoted as “the artist that made me dream of becoming a singer” J-hope showed love to J. Cole on 2014 track Hip Hop Phile - “Hope hope world, before I built my own world there was Cole World”.  “Cole World: The Sideline Story” was J.Cole’s debut studio album in 2011, and in 2018 Hobi released his first mixtape titled “Hope World”.

BTS “Born Singer” was an unofficial adapted song of J.Cole’s song “Born Sinner” and in 2022 J.Cole gave his permission to BTS to officially remaster and release the song as part of their “Proof” album. It has truly become full circle for Hobi to release a song for his fans with a man who he truly idolizes.

Hobi went on live 40 minutes before the release of his single walking on the “street” (path by han river) to talk to Army about the song and ease his own nerves about the release.

J-Hope’s instagram bio now reads “on the street with you”, a heartwarming reassurance to Army “the path that you guys walk is my path, and my path is yours too.”

He has also been releasing “on the street challenge” videos on social media dancing to the song, with (so-far) special guests Jimin, Yoongi, and members of TXT and NewJeans.

SUGA:

Yoongi officially becomes the first member of BTS to do a solo tour that sold out arenas as fast as 15 minutes after release (during a Pre-sale!) We are so proud of our Yoongi for coming this far and proving his impact as a solo artist. Wishing him good health for his tour and congratulations to everyone who managed to get tickets for any of the dates!

JIMIN:

Jimin becomes Tiffany & Co.’s newest House ambassador. “Known for his unique style and worldwide influence, Jimin is the perfect ambassador for the luxury jeweler and marks a new chapter for Tiffany & Co. with the intersecting worlds of music, art, culture and luxury.” - Tiffany & Co.’s official press release

It’s stated that Jimin’s work with Tiffany begins immediately and his first ad campaign will be released later this year (no date set yet).

Face is coming in less than three weeks, and since pre-order opened last week the album is already going out of stock in various retail outlets and online stores around the world. Many versions of the album are also already ranking as “Best Sellers” on several countries’ music platforms. It’s Jimin's world and we are just living in it.

Tae is announced as SimInvest’s new International Brand Ambassador! SimInvest is an investment platform based in Indonesia (launched to tap into youth investor potential) and is one of Indonesia’s largest conglomerate companies listed first among the best investment apps noted on CNBC! SimInvest & Hybe are planning a fan meeting event with Tae to be held in June (going as far as flying winners to Korea!), details are set to be released in the future.

JK:

Considering past radio silence from this man, this week was rather eventful and chaotic because of JK. Earlier this week JK went live for 30 minutes before he had to go to work because “I was bored, so I turned it on.” He showed us his great time management skills by staying on live longer than he planned to sing to army. (And just like army, Jhope and Jimin were in the live chat immediately to see his live).

He then deleted his instagram with 50 million followers “because I wasn’t using it”. RIP Jungkook.97

He then went live AGAIN Saturday at 2 am (KST) for 2 hours (intoxicated) where he talked, sang, danced, drank more, reacted to on the street, and sang some more.

He also addressed a very important topic of some scary moments he’s been experiencing with sasaeng’s (obsessive ““fans””) who have been following him to the gym and to his home, saying “I’m human too” and “I’m thankful (for the support) but it’s not such a good behavior”.  We hope those people (who are not Army) listen to his words and respect his privacy.

He then proceeded to accidentally fall asleep with 15 million Army watching (live was shut off by remote staff after a while).

Joonie seems to be traveling back to Korea from his trip to Milan for the Bottega fashion show that he attended last week, where he shot with Vogue Korea and met new people like Bottega’s brand creative director. We hope he had a great trip and has safe travels!

JIN:

WE GOT A JIN UPDATE!!! Hobi and Jimin (being the perfect sunshine little brothers they are) visited Jin and spoiled us with photos of their visit, Jin even posted them on his Instagram!

His badge already changed into Private First Class (which is an incredibly fast promotion) and we are so proud that he is successful and healthy in the army and has seemed to adapt quickly.

Yesterday BTS made history (once again) at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards when they won the award for Favorite Music Group. BTS has now won this award for four years in a row and with seven trophies from the Kid’s Choice Awards they have extended their own Guinness World Record for “the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a music group.”

On March 1st the set was officially release and sold out in minutes
