Tablo is such an amazing person and i can really see how he influenced Suga and RM not just musically but also with his wisdom. And arent Suga and RM the most lucky and sucessful fanboys, being able to call up their idol and good friend for a drink to talk about their problems and music 😄 And yes i love Sugas show i hope he keeps doing it.

Ahaa ok that make sense i feel there is a purpose for suga to chose the people he does.

He is a well established celebrity from Daegu. Could be the connection~

Please give the authentic: story of Tablo a listen. It's a bit long but it really goes through everything. What he went through is nothing that anyone is allowed to sweep under a rug. A whole country (it seemed) banding together to cancel out and deny his entire life. The strenght he showed in getting through it alive and the absolutely kindness he is still able off, breaks my heart and makes me so so proud to be Highskool. He is my biggest role model for a reason.

I love this interview. I first looked into Tablo when I learned BTS admired him. I learned of his story and personality before I listened to his music. I listened to his podcast and his mindset podcast and his strength to get through what he did is absolutely inspiring. Highly recommend you look into his story. Here is an article from Stanford that's a good read: https://stanfordmag.org/contents/the-persecution-of-daniel-lee

I listened to the story of Tablo podcast. It’s very well structured also because give Korean societal context. Like it was said in other comment, such a painful situation he had to face. Luckily he is smart and strong enough to get through all that. I now understand how he and epik high influenced RM and Suga and also how his experience helped BTS to dealt with their own struggle with social media. I’m really happy they are close friends now. They are a good influence for each other.

i truly enjoy his show Tablo is such a cool dude relaxed and down to earth. i understand why Suga and Rm loves to hang out with him and ask for advice. the next guest is an old actor from a popular kdrama called Reborn Rich. it´s about a man who gets murdered by his employee but then gets a second chance in life by returning in someone elses body with his memories still intact. He knows what the future holds so it´s so satisfying to watch. Basically a teenager with a mind of a 40 year old. and the funny thing about this show is that they mention Seo Taiji and Boys the story takes place back when they where big. and someone mentioned for fun that "the next will be that a korean singer will be on the top of the billboard hot 100". and they just joked about it, but the main character from present time knows about BTS so he made a little smile indication that he knew. so it was a hidden easter egg i noticed. and this actor is the main characters grandfather. the owner of a big car company. it´s really a good serie and he is a brilliant actor. so i was surprised to see him on Suga's show, i wonder why he is there. But all the other guests has a connection to Suga somehow.

Also, I think the next guest is Lee Sung-min, a famous South Korean actor. He was most recently in a K-Drama called 'Reborn Rich' that ended in December which had the second highest viewership ratings of any cable drama in Korean history. If it is him, which it kind of looks like it is to me, it's kind of insane and also makes me question who else Yoongi could possibly get as a guest.

Hi Jim, so you have context of what Tablo went through you can read it here. It's so horrible. https://stanfordmag.org/contents/the-persecution-of-daniel-lee https://www.vice.com/en/article/epxm97/epik-high-tablo-music-authentic-podcast-internet-viral-rumor

Yoongi definitely knows who the guests are. He just acts like he doesn't at the beginning so he can read the introduction card. What happened to Tablo was more than just hate comments about his music. He was publicly defamed and accused of lying about his own past. It turned into a huge issue in Korea. It was a witch hunt based on conspiracy theories basically that ended up affecting his entire family. His mother and brother's careers were affected, his wife and him had just had their baby and they were getting death threats. His father also died, which he partially contributes to the stress from the whole ordeal of what happened to him. It was kind of an unbelievable story - one I would definitely check out, whether it's a podcast or an article (there are plenty out there). It's kind of the prime example of what can happen to you when the internet decides you're one thing while the facts say otherwise.
