That dramatic music is included in the actual speech. It's not an edit. :') This isn't the first time that bts has called a member on their phone during an award speech. In 2020 when bts won album of the year, jimin called yoongi who was missing due to his shoulder surgery and he gave a speech. 😊

The platinum award is new and is only given to artists who have won all four daesangs at once for MAMA. Bts have been the ONLY group to have achieved that and for three years straight. This is a special moment for them. It makes me sad how jhope accepted this huge trophy all by himself without the other members. It's so obvious in his voice and his eyes how he's trying to keep himself together on stage. It must be tough. Hearing from jin was a blessing and seeing the excitement on hobi's face was really cute. I know they're all working very hard behind the scenes and i wish nothing but pure happiness for all of them. 💜 The subs were terrible and didn't capture what he actually said. 😂 Jhope stated: "To us the year 2022 was marked with many difficulties, hardships and trials and we are finding the way through them.
