Yeah maybe I will.

I think you should seriously think about sharing this on YouTube. I think the world needs to hear your analysis of why there will never be a next BTS. I love it so much because it’s true, it is the 7 members themselves that is BTS.

the thing is that a lot of these grps want to grow organically and do their own thing and I think they would not mind being niche as long as they can sustain themselves there. The industry wants to be the "next BTS" because they can't stand the fact that a small company like BH snatched 7 mind-blowing men and that these 7 went ballistic in the west. A lot of kpop fans also like to brag about YT views on MVs but if you look at the streams on Spotify or AM, then these don't match up at all with the MV streams ...which means the fans don't stream the music of the group they claim to like so much. the labels and fans both set their grp up for failure even tho each grp does work hard. If a grp like BP disappoints at concerts to the point their own fans are angry at them, then that tells me that these girls are tired of doing something they don't want to do anymore (at least inside the frame they're doing it rn).

You should definitely watch more videos from the Boracity magazine channel, shes got some really interesting stuff.

If you are iconic, no one can ever be bigger than you even if others do better numbers etc in the end people only remember legends and once you're put in that league, it's sealed. Imagine if someone said that there would be someone "bigger" than Micheal Jackson...could never happen, and the same goes for many. This is truly what they call: "Once in a Lifetime."

I really enjoy Boracity channel. I find myself agreeing w/ a lot of her points, the one about bts fans and Kpop, I felt heard🤪 the discord on The Next..always happens when there's a new heavy hitter in town. I don't even give it a second thought. I have nothing against any of the groups, everyone is out there just hustling, ppl like what they like and if u enjoy it who is to tell u on the validity of that. My issue is w/ the disrespect to BTS that happens. I'm all, hey man shoot ur shot but no need to disrespect. Side rant: I can't w/ BP, I'm onTwitter too much and the Fandom is NOT it. It's left such a bad taste in my mouth I removed them COMPLETELY from my listening experience. I've removed, blocked, do not recommend. I'm sure the girls r lovely and all but the ppl I've come across that stand w/ them have NOT been 🤷‍♀️

În many ways the constant comparisons and the search for "the next BTS" suck for everyone and they're harmful for everyone. I love what Yoongi once said when they were called the Beatles of the 21st century. He said that they're honoured to be called that but it's also pressuring and they'd rather just be the BTS of the 21st century. They embrace their individuality. Other groups want to do that too but they're always linked to BTS, also in interviews in the west, and it sucks for them as well. Imaigine being a musician but you're never actually seen as yourself but only as "the next this or that". By pushing that narrative the labels actually hurt their artists, not help them in any way.

it´s fun because there was never a talk about who will be the next MJ. he was a legend to just like BTS. and many army´s like myself only like BTS, i have seen your reactions to other kpop music but non of it speaks to me. there is a few songs i could dance to but it will be easy forgotten. i think it´s the way they build these groups that is throwing me off. i really don't care about getting to know them. especially the labels that where trying to take BTS down back in the days. the only good thing is that the CEO of SM has been fired. because he was to old fashioned and didn´t want to change. Korean people and Asians in general has the same mentality of working hard. koreans will be good at everything they do. But their mentality is to not stand out but to blend in. So speaking your mind is not common. think it´s because of the respecting elder thing. they just follow the textbook. witch is often pictured in kdramas too. but with BTS they did try something new, they gambled witch is never safe but it paid of. but not many labels want to be the one that failed because the companies are ruled by shareholders. bighit had only a few employees at the beginning, so they didn´t have much to loose.

Broha city!!! Hahaha That channel is good. Just remember Jim that BTS members were not “good looking” according to kpop standards when they debuted, that’s why they were so worried about being recorded bared face, now they don’t care, so they basically started that trend already, lol I don’t think JYP and the SM CEOs want money, he/they only want fame and popularity One direction members were different participants in a talent show, Simon put them together in 1 group, that’s how 1D started.

BTS level of success is the perfect storm and a phenomenon that I don’t think will be recreated like you said. The other kpop artists ( because there is so much talent and they’re being cultivated in ways) will have success just not exactly like BTS.

ALSO JYP YOU ARE ON MY LIST LIKE WTF NOW YOU WANT TO PROMOTE STRAY KIDS LIKE THAT AFTER YEARS OF NOTHING GRRRR

I think it's insane that they want to be recognized like the master mind that found the next BTS when Bang PD literally let the boys grow artistically and independently. So because that people love and recognize him. Even the staff and producers like Pdog or slow rabbit get recognized.
