did you know min yoongi has royal blood? during the Joseon dynasty the Min Clan was very powerful. Korean queens and empresses belonged to this clan, he’s a descendant from this clan ofc

I like this explanation video a lot because it explains a lot of the Korean references that I was so confused about when I first read the lyrics. Like many have already said, a lot of ARMY agree with most of the theories put forward (especially about the black cloaked figures being ARMY), though many take issue with Danny’s Hyunta interpretation. Either way, when I first got into BTS and saw this video, I had so much fun looking into all of the different theories and different takes on the MV and lyrics. That’s what’s so fun about the BU as well, just reading what people think and seeing little details that others catch. Glad you liked D2 so much! Daechwita was my first ever BTS MV and it wasn’t even BTS😂 I was so confused because I had thought they were a group of 7 and that they all sang😅

Jim, I'm so glad that you took the time to get to know BTS yourself by following their musical journey. Because of that I think you've learned that you don't need to take the opinions and analysis of others at face value. You've already formed your own perspective on their art and message. Like all art--it's open to interpretation. All art is meant to be interpreted by the listener/viewer--no matter what the artist originally intended. I don't really agree with Danny's interpretation--I understand how he got there, and the metaphor works. But for me, this MV is more intimate expression of Suga's own internal battles--just like all of Suga's music and art as AGUST D. I see it as Suga's personas coming into conflict -- scrappy Suga (starting from the bottom with nothing but raw talent) taking on another version of himself, King Suga (successful, at the top, and greedy for more fame, accolades). Suga addresses this dichotomy a bit in the Daechwita making-of video. You should react to it. In some BTS songs, Suga talks a lot about the mistake/danger of having been too greedy for success and eventually realizing that making his audience happy could be sufficient (Magic Shop, for example). So yeah, I don't think Suga is talking about BTS and the music industry--he's really talking about himself.

most of this explanation is great the part i saw most korean armys disagree with dkdktv on is the HYUNTA part. the word is used in every day life with normal meaning so many felt it was unnecessary to explain it the way he did for foreign armys as it didnt really add to the meaning of the song. but the entire explanation before and after that part is great and aligns a lot to what many korean armys said on twitter before dkdktvs video came out. armys try to not only use one source to gain better understanding of bts songs so we compare many different translations usually theyre all somewhat the same with minor details in difference. this way we know if someone is trying to steer us in the wrong direction cause many people make fake accounts on twitter and pretend to be korean using google translate or just make up fake translations and since so many dont know korean its hard to disprove ive seen many other fandoms have trouble with that but armys dont have that much trouble cause its engrained in the fandom if you are interested in knowing bts you have to look at multiple sources never trust one translator unless its official from bighit. anyways please react to satoori rap explained and ugh explained both by dkdktv :)

I don't agree with him on the fact that the video is about Top Music Industry VS BTS&ARMY, I always interpreted it as SUGAvsSUGA. The king Suga is the one who think he's above others, who's greedy, who want to shut up antis (cut heads off) and the "poor" SUGA is the one who still have his feet on the ground and don't want to be driven by this greediness. It's always been a thing Yoongi talked in his music. This is my interpretation of the MV at least Thank you for the reaction as always Jim!
