Quick Question
Added 2025-03-19 14:47:27 +0000 UTCHey guys, it’s been brought to our attention that a couple covers that Nathan had done recently has been popping for Ai, which bogs our mind because we get sketches,wips etc. I know there are Ai you can use to “pretty” up your drawings but, I’m not sure how I feel about this. Moving forward, would you like us to keep using Nathan or should we stop using him?
Also if you’d like us to make another poll for March Patreon Artist we can.
Just wanted to get your opinion. Which matters the most to us.

Thats a tough call. Eventually AI will take over. I know a couple of artists that use it to just clean up some minor issues, ie lighting, colour tones. It would be the as same as asking another artist for quick help in a piece. As long as he’s not using it for all the work then there shouldn’t be much of an issue.

2025-03-19 19:13:45 +0000 UTCThere’s websites you can use to upload an image to and it will tell you the % of chance the image is AI. But supposedly it can pop high even using just the digital tools can make it pop high so I’m thinking that’s what it is. We have even uploaded some of brian Miroglios art and some of his art would pop high and there’s no way Brian’s work is AI so idk really how trustful those websites are.

2025-03-19 19:09:38 +0000 UTCI see what you’re saying but I’m curious why everyone is saying he is using AI without any evidence of such just seems strange to me. I personally would rather support none AI artists. He appears to be pretty open about his process but I could be wrong and acknowledges that he uses digital tools for some of his shading and color effects however I’m not sure that would really be using AI. Unless your definition of AI is very broad.
