I hear all these people saying they feel bad for the kids, and having access to the, I totally get that part, but none of these people seem to think about the type of dad he was. No way someone this vile is a great father. Even if he wasn't an abusive piece of shit, which I sincerely doubt, his kids have to live with his legacy of hate, so at least that was cut short.

Last week it was the fact that a trans person shot up a school, even though they look the other way on the 90+% of shootings perpetrated by straight white boys and men. I mourn that we (collectively) have created a world where these things happen, but I will not mourn him.

I keep hearing people say, "He was killed for having on opinion", and it's just such a dumbed down and ridiculous sentiment, it makes me feel crazy every time I hear it. People are who they are, and a tragic death doesn’t change that. Did he deserve to be murdered in cold blood? No. Was he a great man who stood for others? No. Two things can be true at the same time. His death was tragic, that doesn’t mean we forget all the hatred he spread throughout his life.
