I became a member after seeing a shortened version of this, or something similar. You’re absolutely right. I feel we have been conditioned as a society to devalue art made by creators. We expect to pay a small fee and receive all of the art we can consume to our hearts content. Meanwhile the artists we love are getting screwed by the mega corporations we gladly pay to. We have been conditioned by algorithms to be spoon fed content, not realizing that these same algorithms have been slowly brainwashing us on ideas and products that we don’t need. We should be giving our money and support to the creators we enjoy. Instead of sending money to large corporations for streaming services we should buy music direct from musicians, join Patreons, donate to individuals or causes we support. We should do this whenever possible.

I've been hesitant about following creators because you don't get anything extra, so you're only giving money because you want them to succeed. There are channels I've supported because of that, but it's expensive and there's no payoff.

Trump , the regard who can’t complete a single sentence above the 5th grade level, wanted a bad interview for Kamala where she sounds bad so he could use it against her to regain the power he craves to use and that’s it. He coerced CBS to admit guilt on threat of federal mobster repercussions. There was no fair argument in his complaint- it was pure cynical evil weapons-of-mass-destruction lies.

Personally I've always wanted to support more creators but have only been able to do around 2-3 per month because of costs, so hoping I'll be able to support more now. I've hit up a number of my male friends to start a group to act (i have ideas) and I got silence in return. Its so disheartening to see this unfolding and your friends not being willing to do more than just an occasional protest. Its made my heart sad for my friends.
