About Updating/Deleting Tiers and not Belonging to any.
Added 2021-09-28 19:17:59 +0000 UTCContinuing with the Tier Updates, I did encounter a small issue, which may or not affect you when deleting Tiers. Remember there will be only 3 tiers left out of the 7.
So, I've been testing with a friend how Patreon behaves when deleting the tiers. So far I think this is how it works. I'll try to explain it to the best I can since Patreon is weird about this.
1. If you belong to the tiers that will be deleted, it seems you won't be kicked out of my page.
2. However... It seems you will lose access to all the posts your Tier included. This is because after deleting the tier (if you were in one of those), now technically you don't belong to any tier, so you can't see these Tier specific posts such as "$5+ only", "$10+ only", etc.
However, you are still a patron, so you will still have access to the General Patrons posts (patron-only).
So in other words, you will be able to see only General Patron posts.
How to fix this issue?
It's simple I think! If you belong to the tiers that were deleted, you will need to choose a tier again.
You can keep pledging the same amount if you like, even if your tier is lower. For example, if you still want to pledge $20 you can, just make sure to pick Tier $15 and input $20 if that's what you wish.
