I knew someone would ask. Back in college I met this girl through the community-created MySpace group for our school. (Yes, MySpace, not Facebook.) There was nothing obvious about her that really drew my attention at first, except that she was cute and appeared to have a brain. We started chatting. I didn't pick up on it my first reading, but I noticed Saiya, in the first panel, presumably about to say "I'll have a cola if you have one." which at first implied to me that she wants Tessa to bloat even MORE, but she reconsidered that and decided to just say please. I'm now realizing that it may have also implied she's already EXTREMELY uncomfortable with her bloating as is, and just wants to get this over with (to then spend all night thinking about it :3) without any further distraction.
