Crockpot Loaded Potato Soup

Super excited to share this one with you guys! Not just because this recipe is delicious, but also because it's the first recipe using the new PDF format.

Many of you expressed your distaste for the old format and font colors, so hopefully this new PDF is easier to read. If you want to save ink when printing, I tested in black/white and it turned out great.

I hope you guys enjoy this potato soup as much as I did. I can tell you, it did NOT last long in my house. I ended up eating it for lunch and dinner :)

I added a vegetarian hashtag to this only because it can easily be turned into a vegetarian dish by swapping out the bacon pieces for imitation bacon. And depending on what you consider to be vegetarian, you may want to swap out the bone broth for vegetable broth. I have met some vegetarians who consider things like bone broth to be okay for them.

This recipe is fantastic.

This was fantastic. Made a few subs. Made it on the stovetop due to time limitations. Used Yukon gold taters because I’m partial to waxy over starchy, sautéed the onions and garlic, added a little veggie base ‘cause I ran out of chicken. Added a dash of Worcestershire sauce for a little umami. Turned out so flavorful and creamy, I didn’t even miss the traditional heavy cream. Definitely one of the top 3 recipes on here!

3rd week in a row I’ve made this because my daughter LOVED IT and keeps requesting it! Thank you Zach!

I don’t like the real bacon pieces in the bag, how much real bacon could I use instead?

I made this and shared some with my mom. She’s the type that will cook anything and everything with a stick of butter. She loved this!!! Thank you!!!

I’m guessing bone broth is the key for protein? I tried that once and had to toss the whole pot of soup. I was the only one who knew of the change but my whole family noticed some strange taste. Unfortunately so did I. Any suggestions on how else to get protein in?

Super stoked about the 3 vegetarian meal prep recipes you posted! My husband is vegetarian and I don't like having to prep separately for us all the time. Just printed all three and did a pickup order for the groceries needed. So excited to be getting back on track this week!

I concur if it were an HTML document instead of a PDF we could print without the background. But I'm old and don't access Paetron on my iPad so printing is preferrable.

Probably 6 hours. It would just be a matter of getting those potatoes cooked through.

How long would you cook it on low? Thinking I can start it when I leave for work.

Any chance you can make pdfs without the background? I print two pages to one page but there's a lot going on and uses a lot of ink
