Some Val doodles better explaining what made Val a bit clingy to DD. She got beaten half to death after refusing to throw a fighting match. Thanks to someone guiding DD over to where Val was. DD is a orthopedic pediatric drop out that was coming back home after a job, he just does nursing now but knows a lot in his field of study. Takes Val back home and nurses her back to health, he stayed up 3 nights straight to make sure she made it. Val not really having anywhere to go offers to watch his back in exchange to stay at his home and food, DD normally gets jumped for his medical supplies. Val really just wanted an excuse to stay close to DD, being really grateful to him for doing what he did and not even charging her a dime, gave her a lot of respect to him and a little bit of feelings too.
