General News/Updates/Billing Pause

Summary: Billing pause 'til Aug 14, may be extended to Sept 14. NO HIATUS! I'm not going anywhere, I'll still keep uploading on FA and etc. and working on stuff.

Why:

Good evening, I really apologize for the relative silence on my end. I admit it's been a tough few weeks as summer means no babysitter for my household, less availability for us to work! As a result, $ has been tight, so I've had to pick up some commission writing work and in turn, haven't been able to order that many sprites for either game.

That being said, Ano was able to do a bunch of 'KO' sprites and a few monsters/encounters for Xenospermia. As well, MG was able to make a sprite for the Mimic for Slime Dungeon!

Current status...

Right now I'm tied up in a few comms, this will take me a couple weeks to clear up, ideally. After that I'll explore whether or not I'll need to take more comms for the beginning of August. But after August things should be back to normal.

I really should have been more communicative about the situation, but I didn't want to let you guys down! I've paused billing for today 'til mid-August, though that pause may be extended another month as I have a trip overseas Aug 22-30. I'm thinking of leaving my current state as cost of living's too crazy right now, will be checking out somewhere outside of the US. Should that pan out, I'll be transitioning towards full-time internet-stuff-doing and probably just work a retail job part time or something.

Plans:

For right now... During this paused period, I'm going to try to upload some stuff here stuff here to make up for the silence earlier. Additionally, I will be trying to rework and 'professionalize' stuff since I feel like I haven't had any time to really update the folders and whatnot, and I will try to establish some actual schedules and so forth. It's been hard to like, consistently stick to schedules since my job just... Has no consistent schedule either lol.

But anyway! I do want to say that I really appreciate you guys supporting me throughout the years. Your support has made my game projects viable, and I'm really thankful, I am. Your support has also given me the flexibility to be discerning with commissions that I take, because I really never wanted to be one of those writers that just takes whatever goofy diaper/feet idea or whatever, no offense. I do try to put my heart into what I do, really!

I've always tried to do right by you guys and I feel like we've had this sort of unspoken agreement where I keep making the kinda stuff you guys like and you continue your support. This arrangement has worked well for me, but I don't feel like I've been keeping up my end of the bargain, so that's the crux of why I've paused for now.

Pausing hasn't been an easy decision but it feels like the right thing to do right now. Do note that I'm not 'going anywhere', you'll continue to see my posts on FA and there will no hiatus in terms of me doing stuff in general. If you want, you can still support me via ko-fi or ordering a commission when I reopen. Thanks!
