Life Updates (Billing Unpaused)
Added 2022-04-25 02:33:19 +0000 UTCI shall try to be brief! I may have mentioned before, but late February, my car broke down and with that came a spiral of events. Essentially, I had to do 10, sometimes 15 hours of overtime each week at my already full-time job just to break even on Uber costs and attempts to repair. As a result, I was in a poor headspace and lacking time, so I wasn't able to accomplish much game or writing-wise.
Two days ago, a very generous coworker sold me their car, so now I have transportation, and the whole awful ordeal's over. I'm resuming work on Slime Dungeon and my other projects now, and I'm just doing better in general. So I feel confident to resume billing since I'm getting back on track. I really want y'all to know that I'm entirely serious and committed to my projects, and I hope the developments comms-wise (if not writing-wise) helped show that. Succinctly: I wouldn't still be getting the sprites/BGs if I had no intention to resume!
I'm kicking myself for not meeting earlier deadlines I set, and I feel quite bad about perhaps disappointing y'all, but kicking myself all day isn't going to produce any tangible results, it is time to get to work!
