I mentioned that in the course of my analysis of Disco Elysium, I will be strongly leaning on Fredic Jameson's interpretive framework, first articulated in his book, The Political Unconscious: Literature as a Socially Symbolic Act. In my last update, I included an outline of the preface. I'm now attaching an outline of the first section, the first part of "On Interpretation." In order to keep track of these documents, I'll be using the tag "Political Unconscious," so you can always refer to that for reference.
