Project canceled

as I anticipated in the last release post I decided to suspend the project indefinitely. It is basically a cancellation, since I don't see any chance of it being resumed in the near future, even if the page will remain for those who want to try it.
I wanted to release one last build before quitting, the Regolo Engine S 2.0, but this month I got Covid and I'm still feeling sick (albeit negative for a couple of days), so I decided to anticipate the stop and end it here.
Obviously this is a sad news. I struggled to make this decision but I don't think this can go on any further. The hours spent on it are simply too many and the interest toward it is too small.
I know this hurts, and I feel bad for the people that still support me, but I think I gave a lot to the VaM community in terms of new ideas and perspectives, so this alleviates much of the guilt.
I would love to work on this forever but my time is required elsewhere, and after three years it's evident VaM space cannot be that place, so I'm forced to leave it.
I will go on building this at a super slow pace and obviously no one knows the future, but for now the project is officially closed.
I thank everyone who has supported me over the past 3+ years, it has been a wonderful journey, I wish you the best.
