This has always been a benchmark episode that I look forward to. And it was absolutely no surprise to me that you enjoyed it. Did it click with you that the Krafayis was a metaphor for depression. So writer, director Richard Curtis wrote this episode for his sister Belinda, who sadly committed suicide. She loved Vincent's work, and so does Bill Nighy, who so movingly and so passionately talked about him in this episode. For me, this is a masterpiece of British television. I find it hard not to have it as my favourite episode of anything, honestly. Like you, that speech that Bill makes always moves me. Add on the fact that was not scripted. The director told Bill to speak from the heart. I feel he did beautifully. I actually met Bill once. It was before this episode, good job, as it might have been embarrassing telling him how much his performance meant to me in an awful display of emotions. ð€£
