Regarding that first guy that saw Jasmine’s true face: in that episode where they go to the bowling alley, a vampire attacks Jasmine and scratches her with his claws. That same vampire then runs out of bowling alley and runs into that guy, and he punctures the guys chest with the same bloody claws that he scratched Jasmine. So that’s how the guy got Jasmines blood in his system. It’s subtle and we don’t really know how Jasmines magic works yet in that moment but the directing does focus on these details in the episode if you go back and watch it.
