The end scene with Raina and Ian Quinn is actually a deleted scene from season 1. But the writers decided to keep it around and bring it into the story now in season 5 since they brought back the gravitonium and it appears to be important for season 5 plot. I think that’s pretty awesome and really shows their creativity.
