Sailor Mercury and Jupiter - A little romance

I finally had the time to draw my favorite Sailor Senshi ship in an intimate moment of romance!
This piece will be shared for Sailor Mercury's birthday (Sept 10th).
The fully shaded version was done first. A few weeks later, I started my animation journey. I revisited this piece and reconstructed it to support animation. It's my most complex work to date. It features hair, bow, and skirt movement, designed to simulate a magical moment. I figured out how to animate a little kiss. It's very cute.

2024-09-05 18:00:47 +0000 UTCA perfect romantic scene for Ami and Mako :) Love the pair being so close kissing, and it just is such a sensual and romantic piece. The environment helps too a little magical energy to form that lovely heart and the colors for the background are great too. A fun animated variant there too, with the bubbles and movement for their hair and costume bits. Just a lovely piece of art for Mercury and Jupiter and confirming why they’re such a sweet and perfect ship. Excellent work SC.
