Totally Spies - Alex
Added 2024-07-13 13:38:09 +0000 UTCI wanted to try a sequence drawing again after a long hiatus since my last comic. I picked Alex from Totally Spies because she has a simple design. I also liked the new updated design from season 7.
The sequence is three drawings merged together: confused Alex, chloroformed Alex, and tied-up Alex. It was good practice to draw the same character consistently three times. I also like the looser format of just overlaying the drawings on top of each other, rather than figuring out a traditional comic format.
By avoiding complex shading and backgrounds, I was able to finish this relatively quickly...almost the same time as a regular drawing.
I created some a gag variant and an eye variant, but only for the tied-up portion.
What do you guys think? Is this a cool format you want to see more of?
