I love this end scene. This show, to me, is about these two women and their friendship and who it enables them to become. So beautiful.

True, Buffy had way too much fun with being invisible, but she learned in the end that she was losing perspective. Yes, they can absolutely take a child away from their family if they have cause, and it's alarmingly common for them to take a child away without proper investigation or cause, and often place them in bad homes. I know, I was one of them. It was also way worse back then. She didn't do anywhere near a proper investigation, and she made a lot of assumptions, assumptions which could have resulted in Dawn being placed in a bad home or an orphanage. She could have ruined Buffy and Dawn's lives, but especially Dawn's.

And it's funny, watching you enjoy them, I feel like I kind of enjoyed them too, because you were having fun with them. And you are right, if they got serious, with the weapons they can make, they would be very, very dangerous.
