I have loved all of your recipes but this one is way too sweet for me. I added jalapeños and vinegar to cut the sweet but no go. I can totally appreciate that others would love it; however, I would love a less sweet version…you know, in your spare time.

When you make your rice do you season it? Butter, salt, and pepper? Or let the season in the other did placed on top take care of it?

one of my kids' favorites!!

Publix will do special orders. Go to the customer service counter and tell them the item you want. They will order it an call you when it comes in. There was a brand of sauce I liked that they stopped stocking on the shelves, I asked about it and they ordered a case and keep it in the back. I go to the counter and ask for the number of jars I would like. Don't know why they don't put the rest of the case out on the shelves, but it's always there for me :)

These are a go to for me. I absolutely LOVE these bars!

I've heard people saying it's hard to find at the moment. I have seen it at Publix and Kroger as well I think.

I can not find this Hughes sauce- I dont shop at Walmart. Can I find it anywhere else?

Don't be like me....I added the slurry and waited, and it was still too thin, so I added some more...and it still seemed thin but I went with it. To much slurry. Take the risk that it might be a little thin (it's fine, that's what the rice is for), and it will thicken as it's cooled. Overall, though, the taste was really good.

Yes, it will be done much faster though and you will need to watch it. You will better off cooking the chicken and vegetables in a pot with a little oil until the chicken is done 8-10 minutes I'd guess. Don't stir it too much remember browning is flavor. Then add the sauce and lower the temp to a simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Leave the lid off and it will cook off some of the water and thicken. If it isn't thick enough add the cornstarch slurry like the video. Slow cookers are great if you want to throw everything in and forget about it for a few hours, but I prefer using my stove and oven to been done with meal prep faster.

Do the macros include the rice?

If you don't have a crockpot, do you just put on very low on the stove?

Serving size instructions are on the notes section of all PDFs

I literally got the last bottle of the sauce in the store. Our store had the Polynesian sauce in with the soy and plum sauce and not the with the dipping and barbecue sauces.

What is the serving size?

On my meal prep for this long week of nights at the hospital!

Making this right now for the week

If you can't find this specific sauce and need to substitute make sure you put it in your food tracker app to get the accurate calories. The only Polynesian sauce my store had was the Chick-Fil-A 16 oz bottle so I used that. Well it made the calories for the meal jump to 664. lol Which that's fine I'll track it. I just wanted to warn people in case they have to sub the sauce. I did find the sauce on amazon just now and have ordered the 3 pack so I'll have it on hand in the future :) can't wait to try it!! Loving ALL these recipes!!
