Sailor Mercury
Added 2022-09-06 13:00:07 +0000 UTCI'm continuing my trend of drawing a piece of art for each Sailor Senshi's birthday. Next up is Sailor Mercury, who has a birthday of September 10. Definitely a favorite of mine, but I do struggle with new ideas. I've drawn her in so many different perils.
I settled on a fun idea I jokingly call "Sailor Mercury's Nightmare". She's basically been captured by her two evil rivals, Viluy and Berthier. The two villains don't canonically appear together, hence this is a "dream". As Mercury is bound, Viluy playfully holds a chloro cloth.
I also honed my art skills by drawing a Sailor Mercury pin-up. I might do more of these ad-hoc pin-ups as they are really quick and fun.

I am looking forward to the Sailor Venus Birthday Treatment. Have you ever baked sleepycake (birthday cake with sleeping properties) in your images before? It could be a different idea of having her bound and using food to induce a little nap.
