Shadowcat Chloroformed (X-Men)

You know I'm really excited by all the X-Men related requests I am getting. I completed a very nice Jean Grey scene last month, along with a great follow-up to the Firestar chloroform piece. A request came in this month for Kitty Pryde (aka Shadowcat) getting chloroformed.
The Super Fan suggested using Shadowcat's blue costume from her Excalibur days. I love the blue costume! I think it's the only time Kitty ever wore a domino mask. The costume features blue tights and a loose blue jacket; it echos 1980's fashion.
I chose Rogue to be Shadowcat's adversary in my drawing. Yes the two of them are on the same side, but I came up with a story to justify this. After all, the prospect of drawing two sexy X-babes was something I couldn't pass up!
Rogue has the power to absorb another mutant's abilities, and in my scenario she needs Shadowcat's phasing ability. To prevent Shadowcat from resisting or getting in the way, Rogue needs to gently put her to sleep. You can see that Shadowcat is really kind of stunned this is happening to her. She doesn't really put up much of a fight, letting the chloroform do its work.

After this is complete, I'll begin work on another Fire Emblem piece featuring Annette.

Like the idea for the picture, with Rogue putting her to sleep. Another variation of this I could see is Rogue skipping the chloroform and just using her power draining on Kitty, putting her out in the process of draining her power. Great work on this one so far.
