SOLUTION FOUND for those $5+ and NOT able to see the Movies!
Added 2021-04-25 21:50:47 +0000 UTCThis was an issue for a handful of people and I've spent the last month talking with people to figure out the problem and I just got to the bottom of it, created a separate patreon account of my own, recreated the issue, and solved it. I will list step by step instructions on this post, it is an EASY fix!
Quick Note: The reaction for Dazed and Confused is posted!
Firstly, what is the problem?
Person X joined patreon at the $1 tier, person X happily enjoyed our content for months. They found out we were going to be doing movie reactions for the $5 tier and excitedly edited their pledge to $5, only to find they couldn't access the movies, WTF?!
Basically, if one 'edits' their pledge to a higher amount, it does NOT automatically switch to a different tier. This issue occurs when you edit the pledge up through your 'manage memberships' section of your account rather than by clicking 'Join Now for $5 a month!' on a post you can't access. The difference is the checkout screen default when you click the 'Join Now for $5!' is set to change your tier to MVP, whereas through the Manage Membership screen, the checkout defaults to your current tier.
THE FIX:
To fix this issue all we have to do is switch your tier over to 'The Real MVP!', which if you're pledged $5 or more, will cost you nothing.
Step 1. Find a post that you cannot access. (Here is a link to Spinal Tap: https://www.patreon.com/posts/49278081 )
Step 2. Click 'Join Now for $5 a Month!' (You will NOT be charged extra, I will explain below)
On the screen that pops up after clicking that, on the right hand side under 'Summary' you will see it updating you to 'The Real MVP!', and you will also see it say "Today's Charge: $0" (if your pledge is already $5+).
Step 3. Click 'Update', this just verifies/Confirms your payment method.
BAM! You now have access, if you have any questions about it whatsoever, feel free to comment on this post or reach out directly!

As Bowie fans you should check out the movie Labyrinth, not only is it Bowie meets Jim Henson but there's also some controversy around it. Would be great to get your take.

2021-05-18 01:35:46 +0000 UTCJust think how good Yellow Submarine would have been if The Beatles would have been in the entire movie and not just the end.
2021-05-16 17:58:20 +0000 UTCBob Dylan takes a back seat to no one when it comes to exposing the injustices seemingly running rampant in our current policing practices. In his defense of Hurricane Ruben Carter out of the "Desire" album, Dylan' uses pin point street smart poetry to brilliantly tell a tale of extreme injustice. As for Desire itself it is clearly one of his best efforts: musically superb & excellently written.

2021-05-08 23:18:24 +0000 UTCHave you guys ever seen “Head” (1968)”? It’s the very psychedelic I Am The Walrus-esque movie that the Monkees made. Worth a look, if you have some sativa handy. There’s something about that Beatles cartoon “Yellow Submarine,” though. Or there are the movies that inspired the Monkees TV show - “A Hard Day’s Night” and the lesser one, “Help!” And for music, still gotta check out David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.” Great stuff guys.
