You go over to your girlfriends place to surprise her. You know she is out with her friends tonight but you really don't mind waiting up for her as you haven't seen her in a while.
Your body starts to feel weird and your skin begins to tingle, as you feel faint. You realise that these are some of the symptoms of the shrinking virus that's been going around. You shrink down to a tiny version of your former self. Shocked and feeling faint, you pass out.
Some time passes as you are awaken by loud booming thuds. As you sit up you see your girlfriend closing the door and walking your way in the dark. This is your chance to get her attention. She has no idea you are her and she definitely has no idea that you shrunk down on her floor.
But your cries for help fall on deaf ears. She as ad a bit to drink tonight, celebrating with her friends. She stumbles as she walks from the alcohol she drank, making her way closer and closer to you.
Before you can even jump out of the way, your are right under her foot as it comes crashing down on you with unimaginable power. Your last moments you can smell her nylon foot, sweaty from a night out of partying and dancing. The last thing you hear before blacking out, she has mistaken you for just a toy laying on the floor and doesn't even feel sorry for stepping on you. It was your fault for laying there.
If only it had been a bit lighter, if only she hadn't drank so much, if only you texted her, maybe you could have survived this.
