It definitely presents a moral conundrum. I'm also not entirely convinced that the situation depicted would only work in TV and simply garner support in a fictional setting. Just look at the current Luigi case still going on and the moral dilemmas people are arguing about it. While many people still realize a crime was committed, it seems a majority of people believe that it was justified in a way. Like Mr Jackpots mentioned, teen suicide rates in SK are increasing at an insane rate. There are many factors at play, but the education system and pressures to succeed are the main issues. I'm not saying I entirely agree with what "Mr. Fart" did, but I believe he did it in such an extreme measure because the situation over there is extreme, and although he didn't have remorse for doing it and would repeatedly do it if allowed, he also knew it was wrong and accepted any possible punishment as long as he got his message out. That said, that line of thinking can also be extremely dangerous on the flip side. It is close to the same rationale that some school shooters have used in their manifesto's in the past. Essentially "the world is fucked and I'm actually saving these kids from having to grow up in it by killing them". It's a sort of catch-22 moral puzzle that people try to solve in extreme ways because they truly believe that's the only way it can be solved.

What I love about the cases in this kdrama is that they are never what they seem at the beginning. Everything in life is a matter of perspective and I think this show captures it well. The case may seem pretty straight forward or even unfavourable towards the person they are defending but as we are watching we are learning the whole truth not just the way it looks on paper. I think this is really important case where it really shows that perspective matters. Korea does have a really strict schooling system after all they aren't the country with the highest suicide rate without reason. I know children's future is important but they should be allowed to play and choose their own path. Yes, what he did was wrong but it's not like he had any other choice. I didn't have it as bad as those kids but cuz of circumstances I worked while I attended highchool which was already time consuming since I was majoring in animation and I do regret not enjoying my youth when I could. I would sacrifice sleep to the point that coffee doesn't even work for me anymore. By the time I got to my final year I was so burned out that even finishing high school was taxing. I did it but I feel like I spend all my energy back then and I don't have any anymore. This is why many people grow up to be children stuck in an adults body. (Sorry for talking about myself but this case always makes me reflect on my life choices.)
