UNCENSORED - Guatemala Master (PT IV)

(Part 4/4)  Rotten.com, Bestgore.com, Ogrish.com - the list of shocking gore websites that have appeared since the advent of the internet reveals a fundamental morbid curiosity with the human condition. The depravity contained in the grainy images and video capturing some of the most horrific and gruesome murders is enough to drive most to look away in horror and shame. But some people actively seek out this type of gory imagery on a daily basis. Others - are literally addicted. We secured exclusive interviews with members of the “gore community,” including the self-proclaimed subject matter expert of one of the worst gore videos ever captured in the history of the internet - the Guatemala video.

Special thanks to “Hannah,” “Jonathan,” “Edward,” “Tanya,” and “Russell” for granting us an unrestricted view into the gore community through their unique perspectives as prolific gore consumers and community members.

** This episode includes graphic depictions of gore, suicide, domestic assault, animal cruelty/abuse, and/or murder.  EXTREME Listener Discretion is advised.**

After listening to to Guatemala p vi and being Moroccan myself, I quite remember this exact time when this case blow open when it first reported by some people on the WhatsApp group chat. I remember being handed the video myself but I couldn’t bring myself to watch it ever though it was very very much accessible to all folks. After 24/h the police started to crack down on people who we’re sharing the video and they got literally arrested for doing so. I remember quite well that one of my friends bringing this horrible crime to my attention. As I don’t watch the local news nor do i keep track of what is the latest news. He mentioned it and describing the video to be so horrible that he dropped his phone. The crazy part was after i saw his reaction i got scared when the video was sent to him. He wanted me to watch it and told me i dare you to watch it and not have a reaction. I heard only the screams of those two girls. that in it of itself freaked the hell out of me and I started to become very very upset on the fact that he was sharing it to his friends on WhatsApp just for shock value . I started cursing at those people who committed the monstrosity of a crime. I knew at that point if i bring myself to watch that video, it will never leave my brain eventually going to dream about it. So I didn’t watch it, thank God I haven’t. because now listening invisible choir almost 6 years later could’ve been a trigger to bring the video life in my brain. Am very sad it happened and i was very upset and above all questioned why would they video themselves doing it that was the million dollar question. So sad to say the least.

I am a relatively new Invisible Choir listener but I consume an obscene amount of true crime. This series was excellent and like nothing I have ever heard before. This episode, in particular, is one of the most impactful I’ve ever listened to. You have done an incredible job. Thank you for putting together such an incredible show.
