Earlier that day while she was gone, her brother swung by to fix some floorboards after her fish tank leaked and caused water damage. After checking on the repairs, she let her dogs and cats out and greeted her son, 22-year-old Nathaniel Shimmel. But just hours after she arrived home from work, Nathaniel heard his mother screaming while he was on his laptop in the sun patio room. As Nathaniel sprung up to check on his mother, he saw her lying in the front yard with a knife sticking out of her back, and a masked assailant standing ominously over her...

I thought you were going to mention that, and how the cops clearly didn't pick up on that AT ALL. I'm not saying he's innocent, but, like...how often does stuff like this happen?
